Students and parents have access to the following benefits through the studio portal.
- View/print lesson notes and log practice time.
- Download lesson materials such as PDF's of lesson books, MP3's of practice/accompaniment tracks, and other studio files.
- Access the calendar to view upcoming lessons, review make-up credits, and make changes to your lesson schedule. You can even sync your calendar to your device (see instructions)!
- Review and pay invoices.
- Set up your account preferences for lesson reminders via text and email and set up automatic payments.
- Plus much more!
Students and parents (or adult students) will have separate logins. The main difference between a parent's (or adult student's) login and the student's is that the parent/adult student can see the "Account & Invoices" page.
First Time Users
Initial login information is located in your welcome email. If you did not receive your welcome email, please check your spam or junk mail inboxes. If by mistake you did not receive one, please contact me at joel@thevirtualstringstudio.com.
Help, Support, and Specifications
- Login credentials were created upon account activation.
- There are two versions of SmartMusic. Classic SmartMusic and New SmartMusic. You have NEW SmartMusic.
- Desktop and laptop users, please note that in order to access SmartMusic, you will need to download Google Chrome.
- iOS Users (iPad only) may download the iOS app. Be sure to download the NEW SmartMusic app. (There are two different ones)
- Mobile and Android users, there is no app available at this time.
- Chromebooks are not supported at this time.
